Just 10 miles north of Montpelier, Reel Vermont is located directly on scenic Curtis Pond in the historic village of Maple Corner. This is a beautiful place to bring your family and friends for a few hours of canoeing or kayaking on safe, flat waters.
Speaking of food, it's a short stroll to the Maple Corner Store for a deli sandwich or even a pizza. You can enjoy your lunch on our picnic table by the waterfall. Save some room for dessert, though, as all kids under 16 who paddle at Reel Vermont will receive a gift certificate for a Morse Farm Maple Creemee, voted "Vermont's Best Ice Cream". Maple Corner is also the home of the world famous "Men of Maple Corner Calendar", which features a certain fishing guide as Mr. April in the 2002 calendar.

Curtis Pond is one mile long and home to abundant wildlife, including ducks, geese, beaver, muskrat, otter, and even the occasional moose! It will take you 1-2 hours to circumnavigate the pond depending on how long you linger to look at the white and yellow water lillies, feed the ducks, or stop to enjoy a snack or lunch out on the water.
